Installation

MagmaStream requires Node.js >=20.19.0 and a Lavalink v4 or compatible NodeLink server. Lavalink v3 is not supported.

The current documentation describes the stable 2.10.4 release. During release rollout, documentation may arrive before the npm package becomes publicly available. Confirm availability with npm view [email protected] version before upgrading; a release draft alone does not publish the package.

Install the exact version to reproduce these APIs:

npm install [email protected]

pnpm add [email protected]

yarn add [email protected]

No alpha or dev tag is required for this release.

Latest Stable Installation

Unqualified installation follows npm's stable latest tag:

npm install magmastream

For the previous 2.10.3 release, select the 2.10.3 docs in the version menu. Review the migration guide before upgrading.

Check the Runtime

node --version

Configure and initialize your manager using the bot examples. For native features or mixed backends, continue with NodeLink Setup.
